Questions and answers
Does Fido charge for roaming in Europe?
Yes, unless your plan includes it. The current Fido price list has paid options for Europe, shown in the table with source and date.
Can I use a travel eSIM with my Fido number?
Yes. Keep your Fido SIM for calls and texts and use the travel eSIM for data. Your phone needs to support eSIM and be unlocked.
Do I pay Fido anything when I use a travel eSIM?
Not for data, as long as data roaming is off on your Fido line. Calls and texts on your Fido number are charged as in its price list.
What if I forget to turn off roaming on Fido?
Then your Fido SIM can use data abroad at the Fido rates for that destination. Turn off data roaming for that line before you land.
