Authorised taxis
For your safety, the airport says to use only authorised taxis, which are located at the international and national exits of both terminals. Anyone who approaches you inside the hall is not part of that arrangement.
What else the airport lists
- Buses and Metro
- Metrobús
- Car rental
- Taxis, as described above
- TETSA, also listed on the transport page
The page gives no fares or timetables, so look those up on the operators' pages when you plan your arrival.
Ride apps: data first
Pick-up rules for ride apps at the airport have been under discussion. In May 2026 the airport operator met taxi associations after they announced protests, according to an airport bulletin. Rely on the pick-up point that your app shows and on the signs at the airport, not on an old forum post.
- Order the ride only after you have a data connection.
- Check plate, car and driver in the app before you get in.
- Keep the address of your first night saved, in case the app loses the signal.
Data from the arrivals hall
An eSIM installed at home on Wi-Fi works when you land, so your ride app is ready at the exit. Plans and networks are in our Mexico eSIM guide, and the entry steps are in register your stay in Mexico.
